GL.iNet Launches Mudi on Kickstarter, Portable 4G LTE Privacy Router for Road Warriors
Mudi implements Tor service, increases VPN provider compatibility, and more to respond the public awareness for Cybersecurity and Internet Privacy
Today, GL.iNet, a leading developer of reliable and secure networking devices, announces the launch of a portable 4G LTE Privacy Router, Mudi. (1) Tor Anonymous Network Routing: Backed by world-class researchers, Mudi has installed Tor (The Onion Router) service, and it is easy to switch on or off. After Tor service is activated, Mudi can encrypt and bounce communications randomly through a network of relays that run by volunteers around the world.
(2) Greater Commercial VPN Provider Compatibility: Mudi keeps the Internet connection private with multiple VPN protocols, and it uses WireGuard® to give the privacy-minded users a fast and simple VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography, and,
(3) Encrypted DNS with Cloudflare DNS over TLS (HTTPs): using Cloudflare to obtain a fast, secure, and authoritative DNS performance can prevent DNS hijacking and domain theft.
Just one more step to connect Mudi before the device is connected to public Internet. It can protect sensitive data from the risks of hackers (especially man-in-the-middle attacks), viruses, and data leaks when using public Internet.
